Ingredients

Serves 3

  • rice 750 gms

  • carrots 100 gms

  • peas 50 gms

  • potato 100 gms

  • cauliflower 75 gms

  • SPRIG cinnamon spice extract or 2 cinnamon quills 1 ml

  • SPRIG Whole Green Cardamom from Idukki or 1 tsp SPRIG World’s Finest Cardamom Pods 1 tsp

  • SPRIG bay leaf extract 5 ml

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

  • sunflower oil 30 ml

Directions

  • 01

    Heat the oil, add the rice and stir the rice so that the oil coats the rice evenly.

  • 02

    Add 1.5 litres of water to the rice and once it reaches boiling stage add the vegetables and spice extracts along with the salt.

  • 03

    Cook for 10- 15 minutes till all the water is gone with the pot covered with a cloth and serve.

  • 04

    Garnish with coriander leaves
