Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Sprouted Ragi 1 cup


  • Coconut gratings 1 cup


  • Water 4 cup


  • Jaggery 1 cup


  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp


  • Salt 1/8 tsp


  • Ghee 2 tsp

Directions

  • Wash and soak ragi for 8 hours.
  • Drain off water.
  • Tie in a muslin cloth and allow it to sprout minimum a day.
  • Grind smoothly sprouted Ragi, coconut, Jaggery by adding some water.
  • Strain it.
  • Take a thick bottomed pan, combine sufficient water and ragi milk.
  • Bring it to boil finely.
  • Stir continuously in low flame till thickness.
  • Add cardamom powder and ghee.
  • Continue stirring until it leaves the edges and bottom.
  • Pour on ghee greased plate, allow it to cool in room temperature.
