Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 134 Cup roasted Phool Makhana


  • For Puree:. 1 tbsp butter


  • 1 teaspoon oil


  • 1/2 TSP cumin seeds


  • 1/2 TSP fennel seeds


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 2 small onions roughly chopped


  • 3 tomatoess roughly chopped


  • 2 green chillies


  • 1/4 cup of water


  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 1/2 TSP turmeric


  • 1/2 TSP salt


  • For Gravy: 1 tbsp butter


  • 2 tbsp cream


  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar


  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala


  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste


  • 1 tsp oil


  • For Garnish: 1 tbsp cream


  • 1-2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • let's begin with making the Puree first
  • heat oil and butter in a pan , splutter cumin seeds
  • add ginger garlic paste green chillies onions with salt stir fry until onions are translucent
  • add Spice powders and mix well
  • add tomatoes and cashew nuts and stir fry until Tomatoes are soft
  • Allow to cool completely. Add water and grind to smooth puree. Keep it aside
  • For Gravy. Always refer to quantities mentioned under each section
  • heat oil and butter in a pan add the ground Puree
  • Saute until oil starts leaving sides
  • Add spice powders, salt and sugar, mix well
  • add cream, kasuri Methi, coriander leaves and mix well
  • add roasted Phool Makhana and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame
  • garnish with cream and coriander leaves . Serve hot with roti or naan
