Wash Idli rava and urad dal separately and soak in sufficient water for 5 to 6 hours
Add 1/4 th teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds to soaked urad dal
after 5 to 6 hours remove excess water from soaked Idli rava and urad dal
mix both, take in a mixer grinder and grind into a smooth batter
Remove the ground fine batter into a big container .
Cover it and allow it to ferment for approximately 5 to 6 hours
after 5 to 6 hours , it will be light and fluffy mixture ...it means the Idli batter is perfectly ready
Take Idli mould, Apply some oil on it and fill ready Idli batter in each pit
Heat some water in steamer, put Idli stand in steamer, cover it with lid and allow the idlies to steam for next 10 to 15 minutes. fluffy Idlis will be ready
For Sambhar, heat some oil in the heavy bottom container and one teaspoon of mustard seeds , 1/4tj spoon of fenugreek seeds and immediately and curry leaves
now add finely chopped onion, finely chopped pumpkin and finely chopped carrot... mix well and cook covered till soft
now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, 1 to 2 tablespoons of Everest Sambhar Powder and add tomatoes
Mix well and let it cook for sometime
Now add cooked toor dal, tamarind paste and three to four cups of water and let it be boil properly
adjust salt according to taste
