1 kg white onion deskinned wash and cut in sign
1 cup mustard oil
1 glass water
3 tbsp mustard seecs coarsely grind
3 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp turmeric
3 tbsp aachari masala
5 tbsp salt
1 tsp meta.bi.sulphate
Take a big vessel put the dry masalas .mix well
Add 1/2 cup oil and mix with the masalas ..
Now go on adding onion and keep mixing ..
Now put all this in a glass jar ..
Put the water in the vessel to consume the leftover masala and pour this water in the jar .
Put the remaining oil over it .
Put the lid of the bottle and shake it well .
This yummmiiii pickle ll be ready in 4 days..
Preservatives life of this pickle is max 6 months
This is sindhis typical pickle made in most of the houses.. The gravy of this pickle can be eaten with rice or bread too.. And onion mostly goes with chappati or brown roasted rice..
