Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Rice Flour -2 cup

  • Onion-1

  • Green Chilli -2

  • Ginger grated-2 tbsp

  • Kasoori Methi-2tbsp

  • Carom Seeds -1/2 tbsp

  • Red Chilli Powder -1tbsp

  • Sambhar Masala -1/2tbsp

  • Chat Masala -1/2 tbsp

  • Salt as per taste

  • Cooking Oil

    First chop the onion and green chillies. Then in a large mixing bowl, combine rice flour, carom seeds, kasoori methi, salt, red chilli powder, sambhar masala powder, chat masala powder, grated ginger chopped green chilli and onion. Mix all very well.

    Heat water in a container,Add sufficient water into the rice-flour mixture, mix it with a spatula and when it little cools down then knead it and make soft and smooth dough.

    Additionally add more water if required and make a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal portions.

    Now take a small ball of dough and start patting over oiled aluminium foil and pat it from all sides so that it form like a chapati. The chapati should be not very thin nor very thick. You can also roll it slightly and slowly with a rolling pin.

    Now heat a tawa and then take out chapati gently from the aluminium foil and then drop it gently on tawa and cook it from one side and then flip it.

    Smear some oil on both the sides and cook it nicely on medium flame from both the sides and then take it out, roll it and then serve it.
