Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For aalu..3boiled potatoes


  • 1 /4th tsp heeng 1/4th for kachori


  • 1tsp jeera for aalu 1tsp for kachoriis


  • 1/2tsp amchur


  • 1/2tsp garam masala 1/2tsp for kachoriis


  • 1/2tsp sukha dhaniya powder 1/2 tsp fr kachoriis


  • 2tsp fresh curry leaves


  • 3/4th tsp salt


  • 2green chillies chopped


  • 1/4th tsp red chilli powder 1/3rd for kachoriis


  • For kachoriis:


  • 1 cup moong daal soaked for 4-5hrs


  • 1tsp garlic paste


  • 1/2tsp saunf


  • 1/2tsp haldi for aalu 1/2 for kachori


  • 3-4tsp oil for kachoriis 4 tsp for aalu


  • 4tbsp of oil for deep frying

Directions

  • For kachoriis..coarsely grind soaked daal in mixie with the help of very little water.
  • In a kadai,heat oil.put jeera,saunf,heeng,garlic paste and green chillies.saute nicely for a minute.
  • Add daal with salt,garam masala,red chilli powder and amchur
  • Cook on sim till the mixture is fully dry .keep aside and let it cool.
  • Take normal atta loyi,fill in 2tsp of mixture.seal the edges.roll for pooris and deep fry them.
  • For aalu: In oil,add heeng,jeera,curry leaves,green chillies,salt,sukha dhaniya powder,haldi and little amchur.
  • Quickly add boiled and diced potatoes to the masala.
  • Put 1 glass of water.and let it simmer for 5 mins.
  • Serve hot aalu with kachoriis and onions.
