  • Brinjal...1 big size


  • Dried fenugreek leaves...1tspn


  • Coriander leaves 10tspn


  • Cumin seeds...2tspn


  • Fennel seeds...1tspn


  • Black cardamom...1


  • Black pepper corn...4


  • Cloves...4


  • Thick yogurt...1/2cup


  • Cashew nuts_poppy seeds paste...1/2cup


  • Fresh malai...2tspn


  • Onion...1


  • Garlic...5


  • Ginger paste...1tspn


  • Musallam masala...1tspn


  • Garam masala...1/2tspn

Directions

  • Dry roast the fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves, fennel seeds, 1tspn cumin seeds, black pepper corn, cardamom & cloves.Make a powder of it.Musallam masala is ready.
  • Make four cut over the brinjal from up to down with the help of a knife.
  • Put musallam masala inside the brinjal from all sides.
  • Heat oil & fry the stuffed brinjal.Fry it well & take out from oil.
  • Add cumin seeds in oil .When it will start crackle , add chopped onion, garlic & ginger paste.Saute it for a while.
  • Add curd & stir it continuously.
  • Add cashew_poppy seeds paste & fresh malai.Mix it well.
  • Now add fried stuffed brinjal & cover it with the gravy.
  • Add 1 cup of hot water , cover it & let it cook.
  • After 10 mins check gravy & salt.
  • Switch off the flame & garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve it with garluc butter naan or any other Indian bread.
