soak urad dal for 20 to 30 minutes
in a pressure cooker add the dal
Add salt turmeric powder 1 onion and crushed Ginger and garlic
Add adequate water
Cook for 6 whistles
Let the pressure release itself
Cook on slow flame for 15 minutes
Add in the milk
Simmer on low flame for another 5 minutes
In another pan heat oil
Add jeera
Add bay leaf
Add hing
Add remaining onion
Saute till golden
Add in green chillies
Add in the red chilli powder
Add garam masala
Add some water
Let the masala cook
Add in the dal
Simmer for another 10 mins
Add ghee on top
Add cream if desired
Serve with naan
