Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup pigeon pea (whole dry tuver)


  • 1 cup onion pury


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 3 tablespoon temrind pulp


  • 3 tablespoon jeggary


  • 1 teaspoon kitchen king masala


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon red chilly powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin_coriender powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmaric powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon asafetida


  • 1 teaspoon mustard,cumin seeds


  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste


  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 3 tablespoon chopped coriender

Directions

  • Soak pigeon pea overnight
  • In a pressure cooker add soaked pigeon pea and water,make 6_7 whistle
  • Let it cool and drain the water from boiled pigeon pea
  • In a pan add oil heat it
  • Add mustard,cumin,asafetida,ginger garlic paste and onion paste cook it for 5 min.
  • Then add salt,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,kitchen king masala,cumin_coriander powder and mix well
  • Then add jeggary and tamarind paste
  • Add boiled pigeon pea mix well
  • Then add 1 cup of water and cook 6_7 min.on medium flame till boiling
  • Then serve it in serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander
