For koftas : cabbage grated 250 gms
boiled & grated potatoes 3 nos
cornflour 2 tbsp
maida 3 tbsp
red chilli powder 2 tsp
amchur powder 2 tsp
salt 3 tsp
garam masala 1 tsp
coriander 2 tbsp
For gravy : medium size onion 2 nos
tomatoes 4 nos
cream 3/4 cups
bay leaves 2 nos
cumin seeds 2 tsp
dhania powder 2 tsp
turmeric 1 tsp
kashmiri lal mirch powder 2 tsp
everest garam masala 2 tsp
sabji masala 2 tsp
Method for koftas : These cabbage koftas are deep fried balls made from cabbage and potatoes.and then they are added into tbe creamy delicious gravy.You can also serve these koftas as starters.
Take a big bowl mix all the above ings and make a soft dough..
Make small lemo size balls.Keep the balls in fridge for 1/2 hour.
After 1/2 hour deep fry the balls on medium flame till golden brown.
Method for gravy : Firstly grind onion and tomato seperately.Now Heat 2_3 tbsp of oil add bay leaves and cumin seeds
When cumin seeds starts spiltering add the onion paste and saute it nicely till golden brown .
Now add the dry spices and mix well.Cook for 2_3 mins.
Now add the tomato puree and let it cook on low flame.
Cool till it starts leaving sidez and oil seperates.
Now add the cream and mix well.Adjust the gravy by adding water and let it boil nicely on low flame for 10_12 mins
While serving add the koftas garnish with coriander and serve hot
