Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 500 gram kachalu

  • 2 tablespoon oil

  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon asoefodia

  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

  • 1 lemon

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions

    Wash and boil kachalu till soft

  • 02

    Peel and chopped into cubes

  • 03

    Put a vok on heat

  • 04

    Add oil in vok

  • 05

    Put asoefodia and carom seeds in oil

  • 06

    Add chopped kachalu

  • 07

    Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder and stir well

  • 08

    Now add all the spices , green chillies and ginger and mix well

  • 09

    now add lemon juice and sugar

  • 10

    Mix well and turn off the flame
