Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gram kachalu


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon asoefodia


  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder


  • 1 lemon


  • 2 green chillies


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  • Wash and boil kachalu till soft
  • Peel and chopped into cubes
  • Put a vok on heat
  • Add oil in vok
  • Put asoefodia and carom seeds in oil
  • Add chopped kachalu
  • Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder and stir well
  • Now add all the spices , green chillies and ginger and mix well
  • now add lemon juice and sugar
  • Mix well and turn off the flame
