Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 250 gms kathal


  • 2 nos onion finely chopped


  • 3 nos tomatoes roughly chopped


  • 1 cups curd


  • 4-5 nos green chillies


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric


  • 1 tbsp dhania powder


  • 2 tsp garam masala


  • 2 nos tej patta


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 2 tbsp coriander


  • 2 tsp chole masala

Directions

  • Heat oil in a cooker add onion till its light brown
  • Now add all the dry masalas and cook till for 2-3 mins
  • Now add tomatoes and mix well cook till tomatoes are but tender
  • Now put 1 cup water and give 3-4 whistle...
  • Now open the cooker and mix the gravy with the dal ghotni (hand wooden beater )
  • Now add curd and mix it well and cook till oil seperates
  • add kathal and keep stirring for few mins saute it nicely
  • Now add 1 glass of water and gv 3-4 whistle...When yoy open the cooker adjust the gravy by adding water if necessary
  • Boil it on liw flame fir 7_8 mins.
  • Off the flame and sprinkle sum garam masala....
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
