Ingredients

  • kathal 250 gms

  • onion finely chopped 2 nos

  • tomatoes roughly chopped 3 nos

  • curd 1 cups

  • green chillies 4-5 nos

  • red chilli powder 2 tsp

  • turmeric 1/2 tsp

  • dhania powder 1 tbsp

  • garam masala 2 tsp

  • tej patta 2 nos

  • salt 1 tbsp

  • coriander 2 tbsp

  • chole masala 2 tsp

Directions

    Heat oil in a cooker add onion till its light brown

  • 02

    Now add all the dry masalas and cook till for 2-3 mins

  • 03

    Now add tomatoes and mix well cook till tomatoes are but tender

  • 04

    Now put 1 cup water and give 3-4 whistle...

    Now open the cooker and mix the gravy with the dal ghotni (hand wooden beater )

    Now add curd and mix it well and cook till oil seperates

    add kathal and keep stirring for few mins saute it nicely

    Now add 1 glass of water and gv 3-4 whistle...When yoy open the cooker adjust the gravy by adding water if necessary

    Boil it on liw flame fir 7_8 mins.

    Off the flame and sprinkle sum garam masala....

  • 11

    Serve hot with rice or roti.
