Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 1cup overnight soaked white chane

  • 1tsp coriander seeds

  • 3 dried red chillies

  • 4 big tomatoes to be pureed

  • 1tsp garam masala

  • 1.5 tsp chana masala

  • 1tsp salt

  • 5tsp oil

  • 3tsp ginger garlic paste.

  • 1 tej patta

  • 8-10black pepper corns

  • 1 laung

Directions

    Boil chane in cooker with medium quantity of water. 1 whistle on high and 30 mins on sim

  • 02

    Soak red chillies and coriander seeds in 6tsp water for 10 mins

  • 03

    Make a smooth paste of coriander seeds and red chillies.keep aside.

    In a kadai,heat oil.add whole spices.

    Now add coriander red chilli paste.

    Next add ginger garlic paste and cook till it changes to golden color.

    Now put tomato puree.saute till oil leaves the sides.

    Add garam masala,salt & chana masala

    Cook till you get nice color and aroma.

    Lastly add boiled chane to it. cover it and let it simmer for 10mins.

    Garnish with fresh coriander.Serve hot with bhature/kulche/rice/fulka.
