Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 2 cup basmati rice

  • 1 cup curd

  • 1tsp cumin seeds

  • 2 cup mixed vegitables boiled

  • 2tsp freshly chopped corriander

  • 1tsp garam masala

  • 1tsp turmeric

  • 2 green chillies chopped

  • 1tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1/2tsp refined flour

  • 1/2tsp fresh mint leaves

  • 2-4 drops rose water

  • 1 tsp brown onion threads

  • 3tsp Pure ghee

  • 1 glass Water or as required

  • 1/2tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1tsp salt and pepper/as per taste

Directions

    Heat ghee in a cooker and add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste green chillies, and chopped onions

  • 02

    When onion get colorless, add moxed vegitables and stir fry them

  • 03

    In a small bowl mix curd and all purpose flour and put this slurry into cooker

  • 04

    Add turmeric, garam masala,lemon juice, chillie powder and saute until oil seperates

  • 05

    Now add soaked rice and salt and pepper according to taste.

    Now add mint leaves and corriander leaves and water as required, rose water and cook

  • 07

    Yakhini pulaao is ready. Serve with curd and chutney
