Ingredients
Serves 5
1. Roasted vermicelli- 2 cups
2. Water -1 1/2cup
3. Boneless chicken pieces - 1/4 kg
4. Refined oil -1/4 cup
5. Onion -2
6. Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
7. Coconut flakes-. 1/4 cup
8. Masala powder-1/2 tsp
9. Green chilli- 10 nos
9. Haldi powder -1/4 tsp
10. Salt -1/2tsp
For seasoning.1. mustard. -1/2 TSP
2.Curry lesves and Bay leafs-little
3. Dry red chilli-4
4.Cashewnuts and kismis-50 gms
Directions
Boil 1 1/2 cup water and add roasted vermicelli
Add enough salt and stirr well untill cook
Spread the cooked vermicelli in a vessal and allow it to cool
Cut the onion and green chilli
Cook the chicken and mince it using a mixer grinder.
Take a kadai and pour 2tsp of oil into it and fry the onion and green chilli till golden brown.
Then add minced chicken pieces masalapowder and turmeric powder and vermicelli
Stirr well in a law flame till all are combined well
Fry curry leaves ,Bay leaves , mustard seeds , cashew nuts and kismis in 2tsp of oil and garnish the prepared vermicelli
Tasty vermicelli upma is ready to serve
