Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Paneer 250 gms


  • Onion 2 medium size


  • Melon seeds 1 tbsp


  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp


  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup


  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp


  • Green cardamom 5


  • Cinnamon 1 piece


  • Mace/javitri 1 piece


  • White pepper 1/4 tsp


  • Cream 1 tbsp


  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp


  • Milk 1/4 ysp


  • Sugar 1/4 tsp


  • Salt 1/2 tsp


  • Oil 2 tbsp


  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Directions

  • In ablender add poppy seeds,melon seeds,chopped onion,cinnamon,cardamom,mace /javitri,cumin seeds,white pepper and one tbsp water to make a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan. Add this paste and saute till oil seperate from pan. Add mawa /whole dried milk and saute for 2 - 3 mins. Add milk little by little in a pan. Add tomato puree and stir fry in a medium flame to make a thick  gravy. Add sugar,salt and cottage cheese /paneer cubes and mix well. Garnish with cream and coriander leaves
