Take 700 gram chicken (blunt cut pieces with skin) Clean , rinse and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Marinate with 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,salt ,1/2 tsp turmeric powder and keep it aside for 15 -20
Heat 2 Tbsp of oil add in 1 tsp cumin(jeera) 2 bay leaves (tez patta)and fry for a second, add finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped 11/2tbsp ginger and garlic , fry for a while.
Then add finely sliced 3 onions( medium size).toss onions then With in a second add in marinated chicken.
Fry for a while then add,red chilli powder, 2 tbsp chicken masala fry further .
Cover and cook until chicken is done. Open the lid and stir inbetween make sure it should not stick at the bottom.
Adjust the salt,garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati or with Dal fry and plain Rice
