Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 700 gram Chicken(blunt cut with skin)


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tbsp mustard oil /Sunflower oil


  • 1 tsp Cumin/jeera


  • 1 1/2tbsp finely chopped ginger and garlic


  • 2 bay leaves/tez patta


  • 3 finely chopped onions


  • 2 tbsp chicken masala powder


  • 2-3green chillies finely chopped


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 fist finely chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Take 700 gram chicken (blunt cut pieces with skin) Clean , rinse and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Marinate with 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,salt ,1/2 tsp turmeric powder and keep it aside for 15 -20
  • Heat 2 Tbsp of oil add in 1 tsp cumin(jeera) 2 bay leaves (tez patta)and fry for a second, add finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped 11/2tbsp ginger and garlic , fry for a while.
  • Then add finely sliced 3 onions( medium size).toss onions then With in a second add in marinated chicken.
  • Fry for a while then add,red chilli powder, 2 tbsp chicken masala fry further .
  • Cover and cook until chicken is done. Open the lid and stir inbetween make sure it should not stick at the bottom.
  • Adjust the salt,garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapati or with Dal fry and plain Rice
