Clean and rinse chicken with water
Pat dry chicken with a kitchen towel or with a tissue paper
Transfer the chicken in a big deep bowl for marination
now add all the ingredients except cashew paste, kasuri methi,chopped coriander leaves
mix all the ingredients with your hands
let it rest for 20 minutes
Switch on gas stove and keep one heavy bottom cooker for heating and add in all the marinated chicken allow it to cook on high flame for 5 to 8 minutes stir inbetween so that it should not stick at the bottom
If chicken becomes dry then only add in 1/4 cup water and kasuri methi ,cashew paste close the lid and let it cook until 1 wishtle comes or until chicken is done
Allow the pressure to release naturally.
Open the lid and garnish with coriander leaves and kasuri methi.
if You want more gravy you can add some water as per your requirement and allow it to boil .
serve hot with plain rice, kulcha, butter Naan or with ghee rice
