Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 12 nos baby potatoes


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder


  • 1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)


  • 1/4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 pinch asofoetida


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 10 nos curry leaves


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander


  • 250 gms to marinate chicken:chicken


  • 1/2 gms red chili powder


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)


  • 1/4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Marinate chicken with above mentioned ingredients without adding water. Keep aside for 30 mins. Pressure cook baby potatoes with 1/2 cup for 2-3 whistles.
  • Remove from the heat and once pressure settles, peel off the skin of potatoes. Pierce with a fork and keep aside.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan or kadhai and fry marinated chicken till it turns golden brown. Remove from the heat and fry baby potatoes in the same oil till it turns golden brown.
  • Remove from the heat. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan or kadhai and temper mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and saute a while.
  • Add fried baby potatoes and chicken. Saute a while. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add red chili powder, amchur, asofoetida and salt to taste. Fry for 5-8 mins and garnish with chopped coriander. Remove from the heat and serve hot.
