Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 small cauliflower(500 gms)


  • 2 small potatoes


  • 4 to 5 green chillies slit


  • Ginger(adrak) about 1 inch


  • 2 tomatoes finely chopped


  • 1 teaspoon jeera


  • Oil to deep fry 2 tsps


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp


  • Coriander pwd 1 tsp


  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp


  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp


  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves to garnish


  • salt to taste(1 tsp approximately for cauliflower and potato each)

Directions

  • Cut the cauliflower into small florets
  • Add them in hot water
  • Drain them and pat dry on kitchen towel
  • Cut potatoes into small piece
  • Coarsely ground ginger
  • heat oil in a pan
  • first fry the batch of cauliflower
  • Take out on kitchen towel when golden.
  • similarly deep fry potatoes too.
  • Now in heavy bottomed pan ,add 2 tsp oil
  • add In Jeera
  • Add slit green chillies.
  • Add adrak
  • Saute for a while and add tomatoes.
  • let the tomatoes cook properly and get tender and Mashy
  • now a deep fried potatoes and cauliflower
  • add salt,red chilli powder turmeric powder ,coriander powder.
  • mix and cook on high flame
  • Cook on high flame till some tomatoes stick at the bottom.
  • switch off the gas
  • Garnishby sprinkling coriander leaves and Garam Masala
