In a cooker add the overnight soaked chana and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles
Once done remove them in a seperate bowl
In a pan heat oil
Now add cumin seeds , curry leaves and asafoetida
Stir for a while
Now add the chana
Add the remaining dry spices
Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes, give it a stir
Add lemon juice and freshly chopped coriander leaves
Serve with rotis or parathas
