Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Chicken with bone 500 gms

  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp

  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Coconut oil 2 tbsp

  • Garlic crushed 2 tbsp

  • Ginger crushed 2 tbsp

  • Green chilly crushed 2 tbsp

  • Onion large sized chopped 2 nos

  • Water 1/4 cups

  • Curry leaves 1 sprig

Directions

    Take chicken in a bowl.Marinate chicken with black pepper powder, garam masala powder,turmeric powder and salt.

    Keep it for atleast 30 minutes.

    Heat coconut oil in a pan,add crushed ginger,garlic ,green chillly and curry leaves.saute till nice aroma come.

    Then add chopped onion with salt,saute till it become soft.

    Transfer marinated chicken to it.

    Saute well with onion masala. Then pour 1/4 cup of water to it.

    Cover with lid and allow it to cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.

    Now our chicken pieces are cooked well.

    Open the lid and saute well.Then add curry leaves,1/2 of black pepper powder and garam masala powder.

    Saute till all, water evaporated and masala cooked well with chicken pieces.

    Now our chicken roast is ready to serve.
