  • 500 gms chicken with bone

  • 1 tsp garam masala powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp garlic crushed

  • 2 tbsp ginger crushed

  • 2 tbsp green chilly crushed

  • 2 nos onion large sized chopped

  • 1/4 cups water

  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • Take chicken in a bowl.Marinate chicken with black pepper powder, garam masala powder,turmeric powder and salt.
  • Keep it for atleast 30 minutes.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan,add crushed ginger,garlic ,green chillly and curry leaves.saute till nice aroma come.
  • Then add chopped onion with salt,saute till it become soft.
  • Transfer marinated chicken to it.
  • Saute well with onion masala. Then pour 1/4 cup of water to it.
  • Cover with lid and allow it to cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Now our chicken pieces are cooked well.
  • Open the lid and saute well.Then add curry leaves,1/2 of black pepper powder and garam masala powder.
  • Saute till all, water evaporated and masala cooked well with chicken pieces.
  • Now our chicken roast is ready to serve.
