Ingredients

Serves 5

  • Bread 10 slices

  • boiled patoatoes(2cups)

  • 2cups oil(for frying)

  • 1tbsp chopped oinon

  • 1tsp grated ginger

  • 1tsp chopped chilies

  • 1tsp red chili powder

  • 1tsp red chili powder(for batter)

  • 1tsp cumin powder

  • 1tsp cumin powder(for batter)

  • 1tsp garam masala

  • 2/3 pinches of turmeric

  • 1tbsp choppe coriander

  • Salt as needed 1/2 tbsp

  • water as needed 1/2cup

  • basan 1cup

  • 1/2tsp corn flour

Directions

    Stuffing=In a mixing bowl add boiled potatoes add chopped onion,green chilies,ginger and coriander leaves,add red chili powder and cumin powder,sprinkle salt and garam masala mashed them well.

    Place the bread slice and cut the bread half like trangle.and then spread the potatoes masala.cover with another bread slice.press the bread slice well to hold the stuffing properly.

    Similarly prepare all the stuffed bread.set these aside.

    Batter=In a mixing bowl add basan,corn flour,red chili powder,cumin powder,turmeric powder,salt as needed and add water just as needed and make a thick batter.keep it aside.

    Heat oil in the pan.now dip the stuff bread in basan batter.make sure it as coated on the sides as well.hold towards the 2edges and lift them from the batter gently swipe the excess batter.drop it the hot oil.fry until golden on both the aside by flipping.drain them on a tissue.

    Serve the hot Bread Pakoras with green chutney or sauce.
