Wash the palak well and add into a handi
On cooking it starts leaving water
In a kadai heat oil and add mustard seeds, chopped shallots,green chillies, jeera,curry leaves,asafoetida and saute well
Add this tempering to the palak getting cooked . add salt
Cook till water is evaporared and then mash with mathu(மத்து)
Finally add the milk with cream and stir well
Serve with hot steamed rice.
