Ingredients
Serves 4
Arbi or seppangkizhangu 250 gms
rice flour 1 tablespoon
corn flour 1 teaspoon
red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
salt 3/4 teaspoon
turmeric powder 1/4teaspoon
asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon
oil 150 ml for frying
Directions
wash the arbi/ seppankilangu and pressure cook for 1 whistle
cool and peel the skin and slice them vertically
add all the masala powders, rice flour, corn flour,salt and mix well so that all the pieces are coated well
Deep fry in batches till they are golden brown in colour
Suits well with rasam,sambar or curd rice
