1 bowl seedless jackfruit ( kathal )
5 to 6 garlic cloves
1/2 tspn ellaichi powder
1/2 tspn garam masala
1/2 tspn red chilli ppwder
1/2 tspn haldi powder
1 tspn salt to taste
1 tspn chat masala
1 tspn chopped ginger or ginger paste
1 or 2 tblspn cornflour
2 chopped onion
2 chopped green chilli
2 tblspn chopped corriander leaves
3 tblspn green chutney
Pressure cook kathal for 2 or 3 whistles by adding 1 tblspn water ,little bit salt ,garlic cloves and haldi powder.
Let it cool and drain out the excess of water.
Now transfer the boiled kathal into the mixing bowl.
Mash it and if not done then grind it.
After it, add chopped onion, chopped green chilli, garam masala, salt, corriander leavres,,red chilli powder,chat masala, corn flour and ellaichi powder.
Mix it properly so that they are combined to each other.
Now heat the oil for shallow fry.
In the mean while start making kebabs of the kathal mixture.
After making drop them into the oil and shallow fry them.
Shallow fry from both the sides of kebabs.
When it starts turning brown and crisp, remove them on the absorbent paper.
Serve these Kathal or Jackfruit Kebabs with green chutney and Onion Slices.
