Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kgs

  • ginger garlic and green chilli paste 1 tbsp

  • chopped garlic 1 tsp

  • Tomato, chopped 2 nos

  • cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • coriander seeds 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • Coriander powder 2 tsp

  • Chili Powder 1 tsp

  • Curd 4 tbsp

  • Salt-as required 2 tsp

  • Sugar 1 tsp

  • Garam Masala 1 tsp

  • kasuri methi 1 tbsp

  • Fresh Cream 4 tbsp

Directions

    Heat a pan with 2 tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp oil..

    now add chopped garlic and stirring for a minute then add sliced onion and Stirring till browned

    Now add tomatoes , cumin seeds and crushed coriander seeds and stirring it for 3-4 minutes.

    then add ginger garlic paste and stirring for a minute

    now add beaten curd and turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and mix everything well.

    Now add washed chicken pieces , salt to taste and sugar...give a good stir to mix well everything.

    stirring chicken for 4 - 5 minutes or till oil separate..

    now add water and give a good mix..cover pan and cook it for 10 -15 minutes on low flame or chicken cooked well..

    after chicken soft enough add garam Masala, crushed kasuri Methi and fresh cream...give a quick mix...

    Check seasoning ..keep gravy as per your desire consistency..

    Ready Chicken Handi.serve it with paratha ,naan or whatever you like.
