Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 nos chicken leg pieces


  • 2 tbsp salt to taste


  • 4 tbsp gram flour


  • 1 tbsp butter


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 10 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 1 nos onion chopped


  • 8 nos garlic cloves


  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger


  • 2 nos green chillies


  • 50 gms khoya kheer


  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds paste


  • 2 tbsp cashew nut paste


  • 200 gms hung curd


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp kewra water


  • 1 tbsp rose water


  • 1 drop meetha atar

Directions

  • heat the butter in a pan.
  • now roast the gram flour for 2 minutes
  • make a fine paste with onion,chillies, ginger and garlic
  • marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except oil
  • marinate the chicken for 1 hour
  • now heat up oil (not more than 120 degree)and ghee in a flat heavy bottomed Kadhai.
  • pour the marination and chicken pieces in the kadhai
  • cook the chicken pieces in low flame for 2 hours
  • Serve chicken Chaap with biryani.
