Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 kgs chicken


  • 2 cups tomato puree


  • 5-7 nos onion shallots


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 2 nos onion puree


  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 2 tsp fresh coriander chopped


  • 1 tsp chicken masala


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 nos lemon juice


  • 1 tsp grated coconut


  • 2 tbsp pure ghee


  • 4-5 nos pepper corns


  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1 tsp golden fried onion paste


  • 1 tsp deggi chilli powder

Directions

  • Heat pure ghee in a cooker
  • Add onion shallots and fry till color change. Keep aside.
  • In the remainig ghee, add onion puree, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, coconut and stir well
  • Now add fenugreek seeds, garam masala, chicken masala, turmeric, corriander powder salt and degi chilli powder, golden brown onions paste and curd
  • Saute with little water until oil separates
  • Now add chicken and onion shallots and pressure cook
  • Garnish with rice or roti
