Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 kgs chicken -(with bone)


  • 1 cups pineapple paste


  • 1 nos whole garam masala - cinnamon


  • 1 nos cardamom,


  • 2-3 nos cloves


  • 10 piece whole black pepper


  • 1 nos bayleaf


  • 2 nos whole dry red chillies


  • 6 tbsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 3 tbsp green chilli paste -as per taste


  • 3 tbsp fried onion/beresta paste


  • 1 tsp sahi garam masala powder


  • 250 gms white oil


  • 2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions

  • Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with ginger-garlic, green chilli paste for 45 minutes..
  • Heat oil and temper with whole spices, red chilli and bayleaf
  • Add marinated chicken with pastes, mix and cover, let it cook on a medium heat.
  • After chicken gets tender add kashmiri red chilli powder, red chilli powder and pineapple paste
  • Mix them well and cover.. low the flame.. so the chicken soaks all the flavour of pineapple
  • After 5-7 minutes, add salt(according to taste), beresta paste..
  • Add little bit of sugar and sahi garam masala powder..
  • Cover and serve..
