Ingredients

Serves 6

  • King fish 250 gms

  • Thin coconut milk 2 cups

  • Thick coconut milk 1 cups

  • Kashmiri chilly powder 3 1/2 tsp

  • Chilly powder 1 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Green mango 1/2 cups

  • Green chilly 2 nos

  • chopped ginger 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves 10-12 nos

  • Fenugreek seeds 10 nos

  • Salt - to taste 1/2 tsp

  • Coconut oil 1 tbsp

  • Shallot 2 nos

  • Dried chilly 2 nos

Directions

    Add all powder ingredients to 1 cup of thin coconut milk and blend for 1 minute and transfer to a clay pot

  • 02

    Add mango, green chilly, ginger, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds and allow to boil

  • 03

    When it starts boiling, add fish pieces and cook for 10 minutes

  • 04

    Then add 1 cup of thick coconut milk and cook until it reaches thick consistency
