Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4-5 nos boiled potatoes


  • 1 nos urad dal wadi


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 1 cups oil for frying as required


  • 1 inch finely chopped ginger piece


  • 2 nos finely chopped green chilly


  • 1 tsp coriander powder

Directions

  • Grate potatoes in a bowl.
  • Add salt and pepper, corriander powder and corn flour in it. Mix well and keep aside.
  • Heat one table spoon oil in a pan.
  • Add urad dal wadi in it and roast it until golden brown.
  • Drain out on absorbent paper and put it in water. Keep aside for five minutes so it become soft.
  • Drain out and mash it properly.
  • Add salt, ginger and green chilly in it. mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Take some mixture from potatoes and flatten them with your palm.
  • Add one spoon urad dal stuffing on it and fold it carefully. press it with ur palm.
  • Deep fry these tikkies until golden brown.
  • Drain out on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with tamarind sauce.
