Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Semolina 1 cups

  • Yogurt 1/2 cups

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Cashew Pieces 10 nos

  • Chana Dal 1 tbsp

  • Urad Dal 1 tsp

  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

  • Baking Soda 1/4 tsp

  • Oil 1 tsp

Directions

    Take a bowl add semolina, yogurt and salt mix it well.

    Add water to make semi thick batter then keep it aside for 10min.

    Take a pan add oil then add curry leaves stir it then add chana daal, urad daal, mustard seeds and cashew fry till it golden brown.

    Turn off the flame and keep it to cool completely.

    After 10min add Tadka in idli mix it well.

    Take a steamer add water then boil it meanwhile Greece the tray.

    Add baking soda in batter and mix it well.

  • 08

    Pour the batter in each cavity then steam it on medium flame for 10-12min.

    After 10min cool it little then demould it and serve it with sambar and chutney.
