  • Bottle gourd-1 medium


  • Green Chilli -4-5


  • Cumin Seeds -1tbsp


  • Turmeric Powder -1tbsp


  • Red Chilli Powder -1/2 tbsp


  • Salt as per taste


  • Cooking Oil

Directions

  • First peel the bottle gourd, wash it and cut it into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pressure-cooker, add cumin seeds and chopped green chillies into it, saute it, then add bottle gourd into it, fry it for 2 minutes.
  • Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt into it. Mix it and then cook it few seconds.
  • Add 1/2cup of water into it and cook it for 2-3 whistle on medium flame and then switch off the flame.
  • When the cooker releases its steam, then open it and dry the water of the sabzi on high flame and then switch off the flame and then serve it.
