Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 6 nos chicken leg pieces


  • 3 nos onions cut into big pieces


  • 1 nos lemon


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 4 nos clove


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick


  • 1 nos cardamom


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 tsp zeera powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 8-10 nos cashew soaked


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp sugar


  • 1 tsp kasoori methi


  • 1 tbsp butter


  • 1 tbsp fresh cream


  • 1 cups tomato purée

Directions

  • wash chicken pieces and squeeze a lemon to it and rest it for half an hour
  • microwave it for 10 minutes
  • in the meantime take a pan and put 1 tsp oil..sauté onion for 1-2 minutes...take it out and cool..grind it to a fine paste
  • in a pan take 3 tbsp of oil...add cardamom,clove,cinnamon and bay leaf and sauté for 30 seconds till aroma comes
  • add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 min..
  • add onion paste and cook till oil separates
  • add tomato purée and cook
  • add turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,zeera powder,dhania powder and cook well till oil separates
  • add chicken pieces and mix well
  • add sugar and cook it cover for 8-10 minutes
  • add cashew paste and cook again for 2-3 minutes
  • add water to desired consistency
  • add fresh cream and butter and cook for 1 minute
  • add kasoori methi
  • garnish with fresh cream and Kasuri methi
  • serve hot with roti or paratha
