wash chicken pieces and squeeze a lemon to it and rest it for half an hour
microwave it for 10 minutes
in the meantime take a pan and put 1 tsp oil..sauté onion for 1-2 minutes...take it out and cool..grind it to a fine paste
in a pan take 3 tbsp of oil...add cardamom,clove,cinnamon and bay leaf and sauté for 30 seconds till aroma comes
add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 min..
add onion paste and cook till oil separates
add tomato purée and cook
add turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,zeera powder,dhania powder and cook well till oil separates
add chicken pieces and mix well
add sugar and cook it cover for 8-10 minutes
add cashew paste and cook again for 2-3 minutes
add water to desired consistency
add fresh cream and butter and cook for 1 minute
add kasoori methi
garnish with fresh cream and Kasuri methi
serve hot with roti or paratha
