Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 400 gms cottage cheese


  • 3-4 nos onion


  • 2 nos tomato


  • 4-5 tbsp coriander leaves chopped


  • 4-5 nos green chilli


  • 2 tbsp ginger chopped


  • 2 tbsp garlic crushed


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 4-5 nos cloves


  • 2 nos bay leaf


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tsp salt as per taste


  • 2 cups cooking oil

Directions

  • Grate or crumble the cottage cheese. Chop onions,ginger, tomatoes, and coriander leaves. Crush the garlic cloves. Slit the green chilli in half.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai, add bay leaf, cloves and cumin seeds, saute it well.
  • Add green chillies, saute it and then add chopped onions into it, cook till onions turn golden,then add ginger and garlic into it, cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt into it. Cook it for 1 min on low-medium flame. Then add chopped tomatoes into it. Cook it on medium flame till the tomatoes become little soft.
  • Then add grated or crumble cottage cheese and chopped coriander leaves into it. Mix it well on medium-high flame for few seconds and then switch off the flame.
  • Serve hot garnished with a coriander sprig.
