Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups masoor dal


  • 1/2 cups tuwar dal


  • 4 nos dry red chilli


  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tbsp asafoetida


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 1 nos green chilli


  • 1 sprig coriander leaves


  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tsp salt as per taste

Directions

  • Wash both the dals. Take a pressure cooker, add washed dal, 4 cups of water, turmeric powder and salt into it. Cook it for 1 whistle on high flame and then for 2 whistle on low flame.
  • Chopped green chilli, garlic and coriander leaves.
  • Heat ghee in a kadhai, add asafoetida and cumin seeds, saute it and then add chopped garlic and green chilli, dry red chilli into it.
  • Saute it for 1 minute and then add cooked dal into it, mix it and give it a boil and then add chopped coriander leaves into it and then switch off the flame and serve it.
