Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups chana dal (bengal gram)


  • 1 nos finally chopped onion


  • 1 nos finally chopped deseed tomato


  • 1 tbsp corriander leaves


  • 1 nos carrot chopped


  • 1/2 cups finally chopped capsicum


  • 1 nos finally chopped green chilly


  • 1 nos lemon juice


  • 1 tbsp tamarind sauce


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp chat masala

Directions

  • Wash and soak chana dal in luke warm water for 30 minutes.
  • Strain it. Add chana dal with one cup water in a pressure cooker and boil it for two whistles so that it becomes soft. Don't overcook it. Drain extra water.
  • Take a bowl. Add chana dal in it.
  • Add onions, tomatoes, green chilly, capsicum, carrot and corriander leaves in it.
  • Add salt and pepper, chat masala, Tamarind sauce and lemon juice in it. Mix well.
  • It's ready. Serve it.
