First Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for 2 whistle on medium flame. Cool it when it releases its steam. Then peel it and cut it into small pieces.
Heat Oil in a pan, add asafoetida and cumin seeds into it, saute it and then add potatoes into it.
Fry it for 5 minutes by stirring occasionally and then add all the dry masalas and salt into it.
Cool all for 5-8 minutes on medium flame till it become crisp and then switch off the flame and serve it.
