Description

Cooking Time

Preparation Time :10 Min

Cook Time : 40 Min

Total Time : 50 Min

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 12-14 piece chicken wings

  • 1/3 cups ayenne pepper sauce (i use frank's red hot original)

  • 1 tsp salt & pepper for seasoning(or as per taste)

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or any other cooking oil)

Directions

  • Turn on the oven and heat to 450 F (230 ℃)
  • Wash the chicken wings, and pat dry.
  • Season the wings with salt & pepper. Mix well.
  • Toss the chicken wings on to a sheet pan, with a drizzle of cooking oil. I use 1-2 tbsp of olive oil. Put it in the oven.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning over the wings halfway through.
  • Meanwhile in a small saucepan warm the cayenne pepper sauce with 1 tbsp of butter. Instead of butter I use some of the chicken fat from the wings in the oven. You can also add some honey to balance out the sourness of the sauce. Once warmed, mix well, and set aside to cool.
  • Once the wings are cooked, toss them with the hot sauce to coat completely. use additional seasoning of salt and pepper as per taste.
  • Serve the wings with a side of ranch, celery, cherry tomatoes (all optional)
