Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups bitter gourd grated


  • 3/4 cups carrot grated


  • 3/4 cups boiled and coarsely mashed green peas


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 1/4 cups bread crumbs


  • 2 tbsp green chilli paste


  • 1 tbsp dry mango powder


  • 1 tsp salt as per taste


  • 2 cups cooking oil

Directions

  • First boil and coarsely mash the green peas , grate the bitter gourd and carrot.
  • Apply little salt to the bitter gourd, mix it well and keep it aside for 2-3 minutes. Squeeze it and keep the water aside.
  • Combine the bitter gourd, carrots, green peas, green chilli paste, bread crumbs, dry mango powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt in a bowl and mix it well.
  • Divide the mixtures into equal portions and shape each portion into flat round tikkis.
  • Heat a tawa, grease it with oil,place the tikkis on it, cook it from both sides till it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Take it out and serve it.
