Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Soozi 1/2 cups

  • Whole Wheat Flour 1/4 cups

  • maida 1/4 cups

  • Milk Powder 1/4 cups

  • Powdered Sugar 1/4 cups

  • Saunf 1 tsp

  • fresh Malai 2 tbsp

  • Baking Powder 1/8 tsp

  • Warm Milk 1/2 litre

  • Water 2 cups

  • Sugar foe syrup 2 cups

  • Cardamom Powder 1 tsp

Directions

    Add maida, whole wheat flour, suzi, milk powder, pinch of salt, saunf (crushed), powdered sugar,.fresh malai, baking powder, warm milk and mix it well.

    If mixture is thick add some more milk, rest the batter for 10 minutes.

    For sugar syrup, In another pan add water, sugar and put it on low flame.

    Keep stirring on this until crystals are dissolved, we need one thread consistency sugar syrup. After turn off the gas add cardamom powder and saffron.

    Heat the oil in a kadai, pour 1 tbsp batter in the middle of kadai.

    Fry till it turns golden brown, flip it occassionally.

    Place the malpua on tissue paper, when it gets some cool pour it in the sugar syrup for 2 minutes.

    Put it in plate and sprinkle some chopped almonds and pista on it.

    It is best accompained with rabri.
