In a mixing bowl pour buttermilk, add garlic powder, ginger powder and chilli flakes. Mix it well. Add chicken pieces in it. Mix it well
Refrigerate this marinated chicken for atleast 2 hours or over night.
In another pan add all purpose flour, corn flour, paprika powder, thymes, salt and crushed black pepper. mix well.
Take one by one chicken pieces. Roll them into flour mixture then dip in buttermilk mixture then roll again in flour mixture.
Do this with all the pieces. Refrigerate them for 10 to 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok. Deep fry them on a medium high flame for 10 -15 minutes or till deep golden brown from both sides.
Serve it hot with garlic mayonnaise.
