Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 300 gms rice (basmati)


  • 100 gms yogurt


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp biryani masala


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/4 cups ghee


  • 200 gms paneer (cube chopped)


  • 1 nos onion sized (cube chopped) 1 medium sized (finely chopped)


  • 1 nos capsicum small size (cube chopped)


  • 1 nos tomato medium sized (deseeded cube chopped)


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 piece bay leaves


  • 2 piece cinnamon stick


  • 4 piece cloves


  • 2 piece cardamom pots


  • 1 tbsp fried onions

Directions

  • Take a bowl add yogurt then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste, 1 tablespoon biryani masala, 1teaspoon ghee mix it well.
  • Add paneer and cube shaped vegetables mix it well and keep it aside for 60min to marinate.
  • Take a bowl add rice then soaked it in water and keep it aside for 30min.
  • Take a cooker add ghee then add cumin seeds saute then add Bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pots saute.
  • Add onion fry for 2min.
  • After 1hour add marinated panner and vegetables in cooker and spread it, and lower the flame.
  • Add soaked rice after marinated panner and spread it.
  • Sprinkle biryani masala and put fried onion on it.
  • Add salt to taste and 2glass water.
  • Cook till 2 whistle.
  • After 2 whistle turn off the flame and keep it to cool completely then open the lid.
  • Panner Makhani biryani is ready to serve serve it by garnish of mint leaf and serve it with Raita.
