Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 nos bottle gourd small


  • 1 cups chana dal


  • 2 nos onion


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

Directions

  • Soak chana dal for few hours
  • In a pan heat oil crackle cumin seeds
  • Grind onions to make a paste
  • Add onion paste and saute it
  • Add all spices and salt
  • Cook till oil starts leaving the pan
  • Now add chana dal and lauki in it.add water as desired.
  • Transfer the contents in pressure cooker and take 1-2 pressures
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
