Ingredients

Serves 10

  • Rice Flour 2 cups

  • Urud Dhal Powder 1/4 cups

  • Butter 25 gms

  • Asafoetida 1 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp

  • Oil for frying 1/2 litre

Directions

    Mix rice flour, urud dhal powder, salt ,butter, cumin seeds, asafoetida powder and mix well and add water little by little and bring to a smooth consistency .

    Close the container and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

    Put a Kadai on the stove and pour oil for frying.

  • 04

    Take a sevai nazhi and put murukku achchu add the dough into it and squeeze murukku in the hot oil.

    Turn it either sides and when it is golden colour take it off from the oil.

    Now the crispy , tasty murukku is ready.
