Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 5-6 nos boneless chicken cubes


  • 1 nos carrot chopped


  • 1 nos onion chopped


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 3 tbsp black pepper powder


  • 4-5 nos brown bread slices


  • 1 nos egg beaten


  • 1 cups fresh basil leaves


  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  • 1/2 cups walnuts


  • 5-6 nos garlic cloves chopped


  • 7-8 nos mint leaves


  • 2 nos green chillies chopped

Directions

  • in a food processor add chicken, onion, salt, black pepper, bread slices, egg, basil leaves, oliveoil, walnuts, garlic cloves,mint leaves,green chilli & lemon juice. blend to paste
  • transfer in a mixing bowl & add chopped carrots. make firm dough
  • soak wooden sticks in water for 5-7 mints. remove them now.
  • pre-heat oven to 180c & grease baking tray.
  • apply lil bit oil in ur palms & pinch out a lemon ball size portion. spread on the wooden skewers like seekh. repeat same for remaining dough.
  • place the skewers in the baking tray & bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
  • Serve hot with Carribbean Orange-Pineapple salad
