Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups chana daal / yellow lentil


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 cups ghee


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder


  • 10 piece almond (finely chopped)


  • 10 piece cashew (finely chopped)


  • 10 piece pistachio (finely chopped)


  • 3 tbsp milk


  • 6 tbsp sugar

Directions

  • Take a cooker add daal then add turmeric powder and 1/2glass water cook till 4-5 whistle.
  • After that cool the cooker completely and then open it and seive it.
  • Take a jar add the daal then blend it in fine paste.
  • Take a pan add ghee heat it then add daal paste and fry it for 10-15min on medium flame.
  • Take a bowl add sugar and milk mix it well.
  • After 10min of daal frying add sugar and cook for 5min on medium flame.
  • Cook for 5min more on high flame then add cardamom powder almond, cashew and pistachio mix it well then turn off the flame.
  • Chana daal Halwa is ready to serve serve it in any shape.
