Now wash poha or flattened rice twice and drain excess water and add turmeric powder, black salt, red chilli powder, sugar or jaggery powder and lemon juice leave aside for 15 minutes.
Now steam the poha mixture in a pot of hot water for 15 minutes.
Now heat 2 tablespoons of Fortune VIVO Refined Sunflower oil and when hot add mustard seeds and allow to crackle. Then add urid dal, curry leaves, pudina leaves and roasted peanuts. Now add this tadka to the steamed poha mixture. Steamed Instant poha uppuma is ready. Serve with mango pickle or mint chutney or tomato sauce.
